
Cavalier County Health District provides vaccinations for infants, children and adults. Vaccines provided include hepatitis B, inactivated poliovirus, diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, Haemophilus influenzae type b, rotavirus, pnuemococcal, measles, mumps, rubella, varicella (chickenpox), hepatitis A, influenza, human papilloma virus, meningococcal, and zoster (shingles).
The scheduled immunization day is the third Tuesday of every month or by appointment. Call (701) 256-2402 or stop in to see if your immunizations are up to date or to schedule an immunization.
Changes in the way vaccines are paid for. Cavalier County Health District is now able to bill private insurance for vaccines. If you are insured be sure to check if immunizations are covered by your policy and bring your card to immunization visits.
The shingles vaccine is now available for those over 60 years of age without a prescription. Call or stop in to schedule an appointment to receive this vaccine.
